A designer obsessed with creating and improving.

I have always believed that great creative comes from a mix of curiosity, hard work, and craft. Pushing to make the work better, smarter, and more intentional.

Because it’s not just about the idea. It’s about getting your hands dirty. Building the wings on the way down. Learning and adjusting. Creating and destroying. Trusting the process, loving the journey.

MY POV

Strategy First.
Then Design.

Design without strategy is just decoration. And decorations can change often and impact little. Like a home makeover. “That’s a great looking couch, but your foundation is still sinking.” Without intention, change breeds inconsistency. Which can confuse the audience and affect trust. Strategy gives design purpose. It uncovers insights, defines opportunities, and charts a path forward. It becomes the foundation for everything that follows. So when it's time to create, there’s no guesswork about who you're speaking to or what you're trying to say.

trust the process.
love the journey.

It’s easy to fixate on the goal and put everything into achievement. But keeping an “eye on the prize” can distract you from the real growth. The friction we feel when something gets difficult. The discomfort of not knowing if we’re even cut out for this. Those are the moments to embrace. There’s a process. A good one. Just gotta trust it. And enjoy the mini-wins and micro-progressions. Because in those small experiences, we are reminded why we started, why continue and why we’ll finish.

Be Curious.
give a #@$!

I think we can all admit we care. We care if things go well. We care if things go not-so-well. But to truly give a shit, you gotta be emotionally invested. You have to be curious. Curious if you’re right. Curious if you’re wrong. Empathize with others to avoid seeing everything from your POV. Wonder. And actually, like really, care about other perspectives. Because care and curiosity can lead to great collaboration. And great collaboration can lead to amazing results.

Imagine it.
Craft it.

“What’s more important than imagination is craft - Brian Collins”. That stuck with me. Because ideas are great. Having a great imagination is fantastic. But without good craft, without the chops to execute the idea, and execute it well, the thought can fall flat. The thought could simply stay as just that, a thought. The ability to build, and create, and craft, are what makes ideas great. It makes them resonate with people. It makes them real.
